Bart Reeze - senior advisor

Bart Reeze studied Environmental Health at Wageningen University and completed his specialization in ecological water management in 1996. After his studies, he worked at Rijkswaterstaat, Arcadis, and a water board. Bart has experience working in both governmental and private sector organizations and he is capable of combining the best of both worlds: working pragmatically in the public interest. Over time, Bart gained much experience as an advisor in the fields of water and ecology with a passion for ecological water management: flowing water full of life, clear lakes with aquatic plants, and clean water to enjoy. Bart always seeks to connect these themes with people and societal challenges. Bart's main areas of expertise include stream and river restoration, legislation (EU Water Framework Directive and nature legislation), monitoring and evaluation, and water quality.
